This tour was amazing and sooo worth it! While the views were spectacular, my tour guide, Kevin, truly made the experience so incredible and memorable. He not only shared the in-depth history of each of the locations we visited, but also provided me with plenty of special things to do that aligned with my interests (for example, I loved learning about the witches - he gave me all kinds of insider knowledge on which restaurants have markings and where to find crossings)! It was a small crew the day I took the tour, and as a solo traveller, I truly appreciated how outgoing and insightful Kevin was - it felt like the drive flew by with all the stories and history he shared. There is also plenty of free time at each of the Cotswolds, and I was able to see more than what I had in mind! When I'm back in the area, I'm definitely booking another tour with them!

The tour was amazing.
The guide, Tom, with his knowledge and curiosities made the tour very interesting.
His gentle driving and his sympathy made the difference.
The Bus was small, capacity for 16 people, which made the tour more enriching by the possibility of crossing narrow paths.
I recommend Mad Max small group tours.
Because it is 16 people the tour becomes more welcoming and personal.

From the start (meeting with Gerry our tour guide) our day in the Cotswolds was a treat. Gerry is full of fun historical information he shares throughout the tour. We had a small group of 13, which was a perfect amount of people to get to know and interact with throughout the day. We were able to stop in many of the quaint towns to walk around and explore. I believe the price of the tour was reasonable. Good value.

Highly recommend this tour. Richard was so knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions as well as tell us interesting bits of history throughout the day. With it being a small group he gave us some different options on how to do the tour. It was a lovely tour with lots to see. I would definitely recommend this tour to family and friends.

Our guide Claire was very knowledgeable and got us to the attractions safely. Good range of attractions and we stayed in good hotels.
I visited Devon and Cornwall with Go Tours in October 2025. From the beginning of the tour in London our driver and guide Dave was entertaining and informative as well a very safe driver. I was on the last tour for the year and weather was quite changeable but did not hamper the trip. Dave managed to work around the weather we saw everything that was promised with a few extras thrown in Dave went above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Go Tours

Kevin, our tour guide, was very friendly and made an effort to learn all of our names. He was a skilled courteous driver, dealing with parking and unexpected diversion challenges with calm and grace. He provided details of each village ahead of time and while we were there pointed out more such as the witch cross on church roof corners.
We always love feed back and great to hear you appreciated all that your local driver guide added to your tour. The Cotswolds is so pretty and we try our best to arrive at stops when they are not busy but crowds are not always avoidable. However, we always like to make sure there are some great hidden gems amongst the itinerary. Wishing you happy travels.

The tour exceeded out expectations. Robbie was the absolute best guide. His knowledge about the area was outstanding and his quick wit was delightful. We highly recommend the tour! If you wish to enjoy the beautiful English Countryside without the stress of driving through small streets on the "wrong side of the road" then this tour is for you. Due to the end of season our group was small and everyone got along well.
I would highly recommend mad max tours - they are professional and timely. Our driver Bill was a good driver, friendly and very knowledgeable - we went to several sights starting at 830 and were at Stonehenge before anyone else. I would definitely use this tour company again.

We took the tour to start off a two week stay in both England and in Ireland. Our guide for the C&C portion was informative and even sang us one of his songs. It was a nice mashup of travellers: 2 Australians, 1 Ukrainian and 5 were Canadians 🙂.. because the van was not full we have plenty of space to spread out. It was a nicely paced tour visiting many beautiful spots. We would use them again.

Len was our driver and guide for the 5 day Cornwall and Cotswolds tour. We were so lucky to have Len who was such an informative, professional and fun guide. He made the trip extra special for us with his stories of myths, legends and historical events which captured every one’s attention and laughter. Each day was full of great and charming places to visit and the pace of the tour was well balanced and organised. My Husband and I took this Tour on Sept 16,2025. Our Driver/Guide was Richard.
The Van was easy to spot at the Meeting place, we left right on time and from there on it was a very enjoyable Experience. Richard has a wealth of Knowledge and Anekdotes and Stories to tell during the drive.
There was plenty enough time at every stop for pictures and looking around.
We really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic time on this five day tour! Our guide, Christian, was incredibly kind, fun, helpful and informative, we could not imagine a better possible guide/driver! And, we went to the most amazing places-- every single city or village, park, historical site, or church we visited was gorgeous, the hotels we stayed at were wonderful, we were incredibly blessed also to have great weather the whole time! So, this long-awaited trip was a dream come true, and we will definitely use Go-Tours UK again in the future, hope to do their Wales tour next year! Len, our bus driver & guide, was genial, patient, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to give us extra photo ops - besides being an excellent driver! The small bus gave us access through the countryside not possible with a large vehicle. Our multi-national group was upbeat, curious and fun. Plus we were blessed with sunny days!
I felt the time allowed at each of the many locations was just about right, with the exception of Stonehenge. My suggestion for Stonehenge would be to include it in the pre-tour ticket purchases. We stood on line a solid half hour to purchase tickets, which greatly shortened the overall visit to such a vital historical site.
I loved this Cornwall, Dorset, Devon, Cotswold tour with Go Tours UK, and highly recommend it! It was truly a dream - I never imagined it would be this wonderful!

Really enjoyed this small group van, day trip. We packed in a lot of sights in 1 day that's for sure. Being a guided tour it was great to get information about what you were actually seeing. This tour is very well organised and does give you some free time in the places you visit. It is also more relaxing than trying to drive to these locations in one day yourself. The tour guide organises the tickets for Stonehenge themselves so you don't have to line up. So you have the benefit of group entry also. The ticket to Stonehenge is not included so that is extra and you pay the tour guide on the day. We spent about 1 1/2 hrs here from memory. This tour will suit solo travelers as well as couples and small groups. It is best for travelers who are trying to see multiple sights in short amount of time.

We like guest to have time to explore on their own as well as participate in guided information. So pleased you appreciated not having to wait at Stonehenge by entering as part of our group.
