I took the day tour called "Cotswolds and Stonehenge from Bath" and it was excellent! Gerry was amazing, very kind & thoughtful, full of wonderful stories, with some great history lessons and he allocated the perfect amount of time for each place we visited (I didn't feel rushed, as most often it happens in such day tours)! Honestly one of the best day trips I’ve done. The Cotswolds were stunning, Stonehenge was surreal, and Bill from Mad Max Tours made it all super smooth and fun. Good mix of stories, chill time, and great spots. Didn’t feel rushed at all. Highly recommend.

Kevin was our driver/guide. He has lived in the region his whole life and was a fount of knowledge. He was prompt, informative, and took care to learn everyone’s names on a full tour.

Touring the Costswolds in a small, luxury van is the way to go. Our guide Esther was fabulous and provided entertaining and amusing anecdotes about the area throughout the day. There was enough time spent in each location to enjoy the stop. (pro tip: there is a small shop across from where you are dropped off in Avebury where you can buy sandwiches/drinks and which you can enjoy sitting amongst the standing stones)

This was one of the best organized group tours I have taken. Richard provided thoughtful, down-to-the-minute history lessons, advice for meals, and a broad explanation of the geography of the region. I was super impressed by the wonderful sites included on this tour, and I could not help myself from smiling all day. I highly recommend this package.

Sean was an excellent guide for this tour. We got to Stonehenge early and had a nice time there before moving on to Avebury and the Cotswolds, with several small stops here and there. The whole day was packed with information and interesting things to see. It somehow didn't feel rushed either which was surprising given how much there was to take in.

What an amazing day! We thoroughly enjoyed touring Stonehenge, Avebury, lunching in Lacock and walking around Castle Colme. Our guide, Jerry, was an absolute delight! He provided information on the history of all these beautiful areas and was funny! The group is a good size and the bus is clean! I recommend eating at the red lion if you have the time. This is a great tour to do from Bath and is worth every penny. You will not be sorry!

Richard was a fabulous tour guide and an excellent driver. He learned everyone’s name and genuinely was excited about everything we saw and his knowledge was amazing.

Richard was a fantastic guide, one of the very best we’ve had on any trip! The tour had plenty of off the beaten path information and historical facts in addition to helpful tours and presentations during each stop. I would highly recommend the tour if you have a day to commit while in Bath!

This was a perfect day tour of Stonehenge, Avebury, and the Cotswolds! Our guide (Kevin) was knowledgeable, organized, and funny. He kept the day moving and it did not feel like a 9-hour day. We had more than enough time at each stop, and got to experience the beauty and magic of each location. Highly recommended!

The entire trip was awe inspiring and our driver /guide was very knowledgeable and humorous. We were the first group of the day to arrive at Stonehenge which made the viewing even more remarkable. Strongly recommend this outing as all of the places are magical.

Richard our guide with Mad Max was not only knowledgeable but was kind and thoughtful. He saw I was inappropriately dressed for the weather so he always had a rain jacket and an umbrella prepared for me as we leave the coach. He remembered all of our names as well.

So this small bus tour was perfect . A tick in every box so to speak 1: Went straight to Stonehenge so 1 bus in car park & it didn’t disappoint - felt like just us before the crowds arrived here got some excellent Photos .
Lots of time to explore & thankfully when we left 100’s of people buses streaming in.
2: liked the pre- recorded info on towns places very interesting while the driver was able to concentrate on driving
3: small bus meant we could go to some smaller villages etc
4: small group also means easier to get /keep together & all back to our stops on time to make the day go smooth
5: Smaller local company these people live here for many years & can tell you so much about Bath
