Lacock National Trust Village
This is an unspoilt National Trust village on the edge of the Cotswolds and appears as if trapped in time. There has been no major construction here for the last 200 years.Featuring in many films and period dramas including;
- Harry Potter,
- Pride and Prejudice,
- Larkrise to Candleford
- and Downton Abbey to name a few.
To make the most of your time at Lacock you may wish to purchase a take-out lunch at the deli or bakery. There is also a cafe. It's always good to soak up the atmosphere in a village pub with a drink, but ordering food in high season can take a long time.
