Tour Itinerary

This is your chance to explore the inner circles of Stonehenge with our personalised and very special small group tour. We arrive as the sun goes down over the stones and the monument is closed to the public. You'll also be visiting Avebury, the biggest stone circle in the world as well as Lacock National Trust Village and movie location - a truly memorable experience!

Avebury Stone Circles

This is a lesser known megalithic monument which is 16 times larger in area than Stonehenge and nearly 1000 years older!

The lack of media attention at this site has helped to maintain its magical charm. There are no restrictions to prevent you from wandering freely amongst the stones.

This is the ultimate location to try your hand at dowsing and discover for yourself the energy of the stones!

The pretty village has grown up in the centre of the stone circles with many thatched cottages and a thatched 17th century pub!

Stonehenge

We drive through the beautiful Wiltshire countryside to Stonehenge, arriving when all the crowds have gone and the sun is going down.

This amazing monument was first mentioned as one of the wonders of Britain only seventy years after the Norman Conquest.

It has aroused awe and curiosity ever since. This is your chance to experience it for yourself.

During the drive to Stonehenge there is plenty of information for you to browse through as well as an audio presentation.
This allows you to make the most of your time here.

Please note that the visitor centre is not open during our visit.

Lacock National Trust Village

Lacock is an unspoilt National Trust village on the edge of the Cotswolds and appears as if trapped in time. There has been no major construction here for the last 200 years. Most buildings date from the 13th to 18th centuries.
It has featured in many period films and dramas including; Harry Potter, Dowton Abbey, Pride and Prejudice and Larkrise to Candleford to name a few. The Abbey itself has featured in Wolfe Hall and Harry Potter. Enjoy your leisurely guided walk around this village or feel free to explore on your own.
